THE REASON FOR GOD

This course will expose your student to the most common criticisms of Christianity heard on university campuses today.  They will learn gracious and reasoned responses to the skeptical arguments against Christianity. It will give them a framework for building a winsome case for why believing in God is not only reasonable, but far more plausible than any of the skeptical alternatives.

  • This course will use the text The Reason for God, by Timothy Keller.

  • Weekly summary and reaction paragraphs will be required for the assigned chapter.

  • Participation in class discussions will count heavily in final grade along with a final paper articulating the student's apologetic for God.

  • There are no prerequisites to take this course, other than the student being capable of high school level course work.

  • This course is worth 1/2 credit of high school (Religion/Apologetic)
