Bristol Academy
High School Courses for Home-Educating Families
ANATOMY&PHYSIOLOGY
Anatomy is a two semester class and is equivalent to a high school anatomy and physiology course.
-
New students CAN join this class midyear, for just the spring semester.
-
Class time will consist of lectures, discussions, note-taking, activities, labs, and lab-reporting.
-
Work requirements outside of class include reading assignments, answering questions, and more.
-
A prior biology course is helpful but there are no prerequisites. Students must be prepared for high-school level work. This course will be more difficult than Dr. Harkleroad's Biology class.
-
This course is worth 1/2 credit of high school lab science per semester. Parents are responsible for managing the transcript for their student. The teacher will communicate the end-of-course grade within 2 weeks of the final class date.
-
Dr. Harkleroad is generously donating all the lab supplies for this course.
